This directory gives concise, detailed profiles of principal European organisations involved in sensor technology. Each entry gives name and address information followed by an organisational profile and the range of activities in which the organisation is most involved. The expertise of the organisation is classified by nine industrial groupings including automotive, consumer products, process industries/mining/energy/utilities, manufacturing machinery, medicine/health care, HVAC/free control/security, military/aerospace, telecommunications/computers/office equipment and agriculture/pollution/water/seage/weather. The applications are then cross referenced against seven types of signal sensed including radiation, optical, electrical, magnetic, thermal, chemical and mechanical. Pan-European in scope all entries are in English. The invited list of entrants is compiled from primary sources including trade associations, Government ministries, academic institutions and the publisher's proprietary network of correspondents.
