This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 18th International Workshop on Implementation and Applications of Functional Languages, IFL 2006, held in Budapest, Hungary, in September 2006. The 15 revised full papers presented went through two rounds of reviewing and improvement and were selected from 40 workshop presentations.
