Modern applied analysis is a remarkable mixture of analysis with elements of topology and geometry in many different fields, i.e., engineering, the social sciences and economics. The techniques of this field allow for the development of realistic and accurate models describing many kinds of phenomena, giving it an interdisciplinary character.
